The words 'Positive Thinking' do not mean we will never encounter someone or something negative again. The words 'Positive Thinking' do not mean we have to walk around with a permanent smile. The words 'Positive Thinking' mean we empower ourselves to have good self-esteem so we can say the word 'NO' when we want to. The words 'Positive Thinking' mean we give ourselves tools to be able to bounce back quicker when we do encounter someone or something negative. Surrounding ourselves with people who are happy for us as we are happy for them and sharing stories helps us to feel less alone.

Good self-esteem has nothing to do with a person being quiet or talkative. I have met quiet people who are good listeners. They have said they feel they have good self-esteem. I have met talkative people who like to share information. They said they feel they have good self-esteem. I have met quiet people who are afraid to speak in public. They said they feel they have low self-esteem. I have met talkative people who speak over the words of others. They have said they are afraid they won't be heard. They have said they feel they have low self-esteem. Good self-esteem is how a person feels about themselves when they are being quiet or talkative. If a person is at ease with the way they are then they have good self-esteem
